Join Mid-City Volleyball Group Every Saturday!

Morning Junior League (5/19/12-8/4/12):

What: Junior League for USAV members ages 12-18

When: Saturday mornings 9:30am-11:30am, May 19-August 4

Where: Grassy banks of Bayou St John near the Mid-City post office (501 N. Jefferson Davis Pkwy)

Why: To develop enthusiasm for the outdoor version of volleyball

How: Meet-and-Greet at the Bayou Boogaloo on May 19, sign paperwork & pay fees

Starting May 26 six "speed" tournaments and five clinics on alternating weekends

Cost : $60.00/player for entire twelve-week program

Afternoon Adult "Speed" Tournaments (through October 2012):

Registration starting at 11:30am and closing at 11:45am. Teams are chosen at 11:45am with tournaments starting at Noon. Tournaments last 2 to 2 1/2 hours (approximately 90 minutes for pool play and 30 minutes for playoffs); Cost: $5 per person

Bayou Boogaloo Pub Crawl Registration

The 2012 Bayou Boogaloo Bicycle Pub Crawl is right around the corner! This year, it's a fundraiser for the Mid-City Volleyball Group. The suggested donation is $20. The Crawl will start at 7:00am on Saturday, May 19th at the Rouses Market in the CBD (corner of Girod and Baronne), and it will end around 12:15pm at the Bayou Boogaloo so you can shake your tailfeathers all afternoon long! 2012 Junior Summer League Registration

2012 Junior Summer League Registration is now open for juniors age 12-18. The league runs from Saturday, May 19, 2012 through Saturday, August 4, 2012.
